The Big Bad Accident

My body darted down the hallway of my house.
Suddenly a bone hammered into my face.


My eyes flooded with water.
“AHHHHHHHH AWWWW!!!!!!!” I screamed in pain.


Anchored to the floor, I heard feet hitting the ground one after the other, A blurry figure appeared in front of me and I realized it was mum running to comfort me.
“It’s ok, what did you do?” Mum asked.
“I, I, I wa, was running and th,th then I whacked into the corner of the door!” I tried to speak clearly.


I stood slowly on my wobbly legs.
Mum draped her arm around me and wiped my tears as we walked to the Kitchen.

The pain was excruciating and caused me to feel light headed and sick, Thank goodness I wasn’t but it was close!

My hiding space My heart’s pounding like a cheetah's prey. The leaves are rustling around me as the stones are banging together as the wind blows them around. I was as still as a statue waiting for someone to come and find me. My body was as long as a snake. Kaelyn was calling my name but still I stayed quiet…   “Can you guess where I was hiding” I'm on the side of my house underneath a tree with a trimmed hedge against me and stones banging in the burrow underneath.
